Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has backed current boss David Moyes to guide the club to the Premier League title, despite their poor start to the campaign.
According to Metro.co.uk, the reigning champions have recovered in recent weeks following their worst start to a season in 24 years, having gone on a run of nine games unbeaten in all competitions.
Ferguson believes Moyes can continue to oversee the comeback and ensure United retain the title, the report said.
He said that United can come from behind and win the league, adding that there is no doubt about that as history shows that when they are on their charge, they can be unstoppable.
He added that United has got an inner strength to come from behind and have done it many times in the past.
Ferguson further said that Moyes is doing great and it is not easy as he is building up a squad, adding that he has come to the right club at the right time.
