Colombian defender Juan Zuniga would not face disciplinary action for the challenge against Neymar that led to the Brazilian forward's World Cup exit.
Neymar broke a vertebra in his spine during his side's 2-1 quarterfinal win on Friday following a challenge from defender Zuniga.
According to the BBC, a FIFA statement said that there could be no disciplinary action because the incident was spotted and dealt with by referee Velasco Carballo on the pitch.
A FIFA spokesman said that they wish Neymar a prompt and complete recovery.
FIFA has also announced that it would not overturn the yellow card shown to Brazil captain Thiago Silva during the Colombia game, saying that there is no legal basis entitling it to grant such request.
Brazil will face Germany in the World Cup semifinal on Tuesday, the report added.
