Barbara Taylor Bradford, the Publishing guru, has slammed the popular erotic novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey' and called it an "awful book".
During a candid interview with Radio Times, the author of 1979 'A Woman of Substance', who has penned some of the best-selling novels ever, said that the book, written by El James, was terribly badly written and not even sexy, the Daily Express reported.
The 80-year-old writer asserted that the protagonist, Christian Grey, is every woman's worst nightmare, although he's rich.
The novel, which sold over 70 million copies and is set to become a Hollywood hit, follows the sexual and romantic relationship between a college graduate, Anastasia Steele, and a businessman Grey.
