The film adaptation of 'Fifty Shades of Grey' could be released with its explicit version alongside its more cinema-friendly counterpart.
Collider Dana Brunetti, the producer claimed that while the film would be R-rated in the US, there is also demand for a more hardcore version with the adult's only NC-17 rating, Metro.co.uk reported.
She added that it was just her opinion and doesn't mean that it will happen, but she thinks that the N-17 version can be released a few weeks later than the R version.
Brunetti said if people wanted to see it again and get more gritty with it, then have that NC-17 version out there as well which would be great for the studio because they'd get a double dip on the box office.
She claimed this way they keep it elevated and also give the fans what they want.
