The process of filing of nomination papers for the state legislative assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh will begin on Friday with the issuance of notification.
The nomination papers will be filed till November 8, while the scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on November 9.
The nomination papers can be withdrawn till November 11.
All the 230 assembly segments of Madhya Pradesh will go to the polls in a single-phase on November 25.
Meanwhile, according to the state election department, Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) system will be introduced for the first time in Mizoram in 10 Assembly constituencies.
VVPAT system is a method of providing feedback to voters using a ballotless voting system.
