Finance Minister Arun Jaitley reaches Parliament

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has reached Parliament after paying a visit to Rashtrapati Bhawan and Finance Ministry earlier today.

The first copies of Union Budget 2014 have also reached the Parliament.

People all around the country are hoping for a respite from inflation. However, the leaders of opposition party are not expecting much from the Union Budget.

Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Naresh Agarwal said that common people should not expect relief from BJP government's Union Budget.

An economic survey presented two days back mentioned that massive efforts are needed in the form of investment in social infrastructure, skill development and empowerment of women.
