'Fine after nimbu pani': Odisha CM after falling sick during I - Day celebration

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik suddenly fell unwell while attending the Independence Day celebrations today at Mahatma Gandhi Marg.

Patnaik took to Twitter and said, "Should have had adequate water for parade in sunny humid conditions. Felt bit dehydrated. Perfectly fine now with 2 glasses of nimbu pani."

He also advised all parents to give their kids adequate water before going out in sun and thanked all his well wishers.

"Attending rest of days programs. Must tell all you kids out there to drink adequate water before going out in sun. Thanks for your wishes," he tweeted.

The Chief Minister Office further stated that Patnaik is completely fine now and is at his residence.

 

After taking rest, Chief Minister Patnaik attended the police medal ceremony programme at Soochana Bhawan.
