A fire has broken out in the Saudi Arabian city of Khobar at a residential complex used by the state oil giant Saudi Aramco, killing one person and injuring 30.
According to the New York Times, Aramco authorities said that an investigation is under process into the cause of the blaze.
The Interior Ministry's General Directorate of Civil Defense said the casualties involved victims of various nationalities. However, it did not give elaborate details.
According to images posted on social media by witnesses, thick smoke poured out from the large multi-story complex as helicopters hovered overhead.
