A fire broke out in a special train, which was carrying police officers deployed on election duty in Jammu and Kashmir, near Siliguri in West Bengal on Saturday.
No casualties have been reported so far.
"The fire was very wild when we came. The situation got tensed when a gas cylinder burst while we were pouring water. We tried to control it, and when we went inside found three cylinders," said Sankar Das, a fire officer.
The railway officers rushed to the spot to investigate the cause of the fire.
