Match.com, which was supposedly the first-ever dating website, is offering some of the 1 million children, born from the connections made through their site, a chance to win 50,000 dollars in college tuition.

The site has launched an annual scholarship program, called MatchMade, to celebrate their 18th anniversary.

Sam Yagan, CEO of Match, told Mashable that when Match turned 18, it hit them that their first MatchMade kids are starting to go off to college and they have played a small role in these kids being born.

Now the company wants to play a small role in sending those kids off to college, Yagan added.

All the kids have to do is send the company a 'creative' video explaining how their parents met on the site, which will then be posted on Facebook and Twitter and public will chose their favorite out of the lot.

Along with the 50,000 dollars, the parents in the winning video will get 5,000 dollars for a getaway.
