Pakistan's towering paceman Mohammad Irfan has been recalled on Friday to the 16-man squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, which starts on July 11.
Irfan, who suffered a hip injury during the World Cup, was made to miss the Pakistan quarter-final clash against eventual champions Australia.
Chief selector Haroon Rasheed said that Irfan has completed a rehab and is raring to go, Sport24 reported.
Pakistan will seek to win the series in order to strengthen their bid for qualifying for the 2017 Championship Trophy in England.
Pakistan will also play two Twenty-20 matches against the hosts.
