Pakistan pace bowler Junaid Khan is raring to excel for his team in the upcoming World Cup after being sidelined for several months on account of suffering knee injury.

Junaid, who will be spearheading the bowling unit in the World Cup, said that he couldn't wait to go out and do well for Pakistan again after being side-lined for several months due to the knee injury, the Express Tribune reported.

According to him, he couldn't get a chance to play in the 2011 World Cup despite being selected in the squad. He further said that now he has the opportunity to make the difference and there are things which he has learned from the seniors which would be helpful now.

Spearheading the bowling unit, Junaid would remain as the main strike fast bowler, whereas inclusion of Muhammad Irfan and Wahab Riaz would make for a lethal bowling unit.
