Several yoga-cum-meditation camps will be conducted in the United States between August 12 and August 16 under the spiritual guidance of Sadhvi Ritambhara, who is affectionately called Didi Maa worldwide.
According to a statement released by her institution Vatsalyagram, which primarily looks after orphaned children, the widowed and elders, these camps, named as "The Awakening of Divine Power", will aim to assist "seekers' (participants) achieve harmony of mind, body and spirit, and in turn find answers 'within' to attain a more fulfilling life.
The camps in the United States will be held in Edison, New Jersey, under the auspices of the non-profit Param Shakti Peeth of America organisation.
Proceeds collected from these camps will be used for the welfare of abandoned and or parentless children, children with special needs, backward tribal girls, destitute women and widows and other impoverished members of the community in India.
