Five suicide bombers attack military hospital in Kabul

At least five suicide bombers have reportedly attacked the Sardar Mohammad Daud Khan Hospital, also known as army hospital in Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan area on outskirts of Kabul.

Earlier, an explosion was reportedly heard near the same military hospital.

A group of attackers had reportedly entered the hospital following the blast at the main gate of the health facility in Kabul on Wednesday morning.

Tolo News quoted sources as saying that a gun battle is underway between security forces and the attackers inside the hospital.

According to the health officials, at least 13 people who were injured in the attack have been taken to Kabul hospitals.

 

No casualties have been reported yet.

No terror group including Taliban has claimed responsibility for the incident.
