The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday issued flood warning following incessant rainfall resulting in rise in water level of Jhelum River.

People have moved to higher reaches after water entered few homes in low lying areas of Kashmir.

Heavy rainfall has also caused waterlogging in the state and power supply is down in most parts of Srinagar.

However, there has been a respite from rain from the past few hours.
