Not deterred by his side's 5-0 Ashes whitewash in Australia, England coach Andy Flower has vowed to continue in the job.

England lost by 281 runs inside three days in Sydney.

Flower, who took over the role in 2009, made it clear that he has no plans to leave his coaching assignment.

Under Flower, England rose to number one in the world Test rankings in August 2011 and completed their third consecutive Ashes series victory with a 3-0 triumph over Australia in 2013.

But despite arriving as favourites, they were heavily beaten in all five Tests in Australia and have now slipped to fourth in the rankings, the BBC reports.

Flower said he is not happy with what has happened in this Test series, and added that it is important to review this performance logically and look at the mistakes made by the team.
