Floyd Mayweather's father believes that his son will knock out Manny Pacquiao when the two legends square off each other for the richest fight in the history of boxing in Las Vegas on Saturday.
Recalling Pacquiao's bout against Juan Manuel Marquez, Mayweather Sr. said that Pacquiao has still not recovered from the knockout against Marquez and it would not take too many more punches until that happens again, the BBC reported.
Mexican legend Marquez had lost to the Filipino politician-turned-boxer twice and drawn with him once before knocking him cold in the sixth round of their fourth encounter.
On the other hand, Philippine legend Pacquiao, a six-weight world champion, has won three fights since, although some suggest that he is not the fighter that he was.
Unbeaten US boxing champion Mayweather Jr. would go head-to-head against Pacquiao in the much-anticipated bout in a bid to prove that he is the greatest fighter of his generation.
