Fog continues to take massive toll on train, air services

The gorwingly severe fog conditions in the national capital have taken a majot hit on operations at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and have also delayed several Delhi-bound trains.

At least 67 trains are running behind schedule due to the fog. 30 trains were rescheduled and 2 trains cancelled.

According to the Delhi airport, more than 19 domestic and international flights were delayed or diverted at the Indira Gandhi International Airport while around 16 flights were cancelled.

Meanwhile, Delhiites woke up to a chilly morning as a dense layer of fog enveloped most parts of northern India on Friday.

As predicted by the Met department, the city may also witness couple more mornings of dense fog in the coming days.
