Folk music and cultural dance attract visitors in Kashmir

Folk music show and cultural dance are attracting many visitors including tourists in the Kashmir Valley.

The main purpose of the programme is to promote the culture and traditions aimed to attract tourists and to make future generations aware of the rich past of Kashmir.

Jammu and Kashmir cultural academy, in collaboration with TV2 communication, have taken wonderful steps to organize unique shows in shape of folk music, folk dance and other theatre activities.

The show was organized at Zabarwan Park on the banks of Dal Lake and the show was full of cultural and traditional activities that attract a number of locals and tourists.

 

Such type of shows can play a big role in society to make people as well as tourists aware about the Kashmiri culture and traditions that are more than five thousand years old.

For the last few years department of tourism, cultural academy and other organizations have worked hard and organized a number of such programmes for the promotion of tourism and to make young generation aware of the rich past of Kashmir.
