An English football manager had reportedly come out of an induced coma after hearing that his team had won their opening game of the season.
According to Metro.co.uk, Larkhall Athletic FC boss Wayne Thorne was in a coma following a car accident in which he tore the main artery in his heart and punctured a lung.
However, the report added that Thorne had miraculously opened his eyes after his wife Mandy told him of his team's 4-3 success away at Bridport in Dorset.
Stating that the news that the club won had given Thorne a boost, Larkhall chairman Paul Rankin said they had a follow-up result this week, which has continued to put Thorne in good spirits.
According to Rankin, they are keeping Thorne involved as much as they can without putting any stress on him, as football is his life, along with his family.
