Indian-owned Formula One side Force India will reportedly pay tribute to retiring Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar through their cars during Sunday's Indian Grand Prix.

According to Sport24, Force India said that it would have the words 'masterblaster' inscribed on the nose of its cars as the team also 'aims to be a big hitter in the world of sport' like the Little Master.

The report mentioned that Tendulkar, who made his debut in 1989 at the age of 16, announced that he plans to retire from international cricket after playing a record 200th Test against West Indies on his home ground in Mumbai next month.

Tendulkar is the most prolific batsman in international cricket history with 15, 837 runs in 198 Tests and 18, 426 runs from 463 ODIs and also holds the record for most centuries in Tests (51) and ODIs (49), the report added.
