Congress leader Manish Tewari on Wednesday alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA Government is an administration of rhetoric which does not have the political will to bring even petty criminals back, forget someone like Dawood Ibrahim.
Tewari, who was reacting to the Shiv Sena's assertion that underworld don Dawood Ibrahim should be brought back to India, said this is only government of rhetoric.
"The Shiv Sena knows that this government has no political will. This is only a government of rhetoric.of generaly talking in the air. Forget Dawood Ibrahim, they do not have the political will to bring a petty criminal back," he added.
The Shiv Sena has criticised NCP leader Sharad Pawar's admission that Dawood Ibrahim had offered to surrender along with certain conditions while he was the chief minister of Maharashtra and asked as to what prevented the BJP from making an effort to bring back the underworld don to India.
