A former Chinese aide to ex- president Hu Jintao has been charged with corruption and officially expelled from the Communist Party.

According to reports, Ling Jihua is accused of committing sexual misconduct and taking bribes.

According to BBC, Ling was demoted in 2012 after reports came about his son getting killed in a high-speed Ferrari crash in Beijing.
