Former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran leader Jaswant Singh was admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital here on Thursday, and is said to be in critical condition.
The former union minister reportedly slipped and grievously injured his head.
Senior BJP leader L K Advani visited the hospital today to inquire about Jaswant Singh's welfare.
Singh had left the BJP earlier this year after the party denied him a ticket to contest from the Barmer constituency in Rajasthan. He preferred to contest the polls as an Independent, but lost to a Congress Party candidate, Col. Sonaram Choudhary (Retired).
