E-commerce spending in China is set to reach one trillion dollars by 2019 owing to mobile apps and improved logistics network, says a new report by Forrester.
According to TechCrunch, Alibaba's Tmall and Taobao will continue to dominate the market in spite of JD.com's efforts to grow, which include partnerships with Tencent.
In 2013, China became the world's largest online retail market with its total sales at 307 billion dollars.
The e-commerce market in China is currently divided between two websites, Alibaba's Tmall and JD.com, which hold a 57 percent and 21 percent market share respectively.
