Four people lost their lives on Saturday night after their two bikes were hit by a car that went out of control in the Vapi municipality of Gujarat's Valsad district.
As per reports, the car was a Vapi's corporator's vehicle. The person who was driving the car is yet to be identified.
Rehan Mohammad, a local resident, said, "The four people who were on the two bikes lost their lives after the car banged into them. The car was being driven in a rash manner."
"Local officials rushed to the spot. The bodies have been sent to a nearby hospital," he said.
The police have launched an investigation and as a first step they would be tracing the driver of the car.
