Japanese company Fujifilm on Thursday launched a special ultraviolet (UV) ink, which is said to be healthy for the human body as compared to the regular solvent ink. The firm also launched a printer made especially for the ink.
In many countries in Europe, the regular solvent ink has been banned due to its harmful properties. It is said to emit harmful volatile organic compounds, due to which, people handling the ink have to get a check up every three months.
The new printer has various functions, including creating advertising materials, posters, banners, POP, and black lighting advertisements.
