Online rental platform Furlenco entered the Delhi-NCR market here today. Owing to this, the company is launching a #SWAGGHAR campaign spanning Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube with an intention to reach out to all the digital savvy audiences.
Making a grand entry around Holi, it has also tied up with upcoming Dharma Productions' film Badrinath Ki Dulhania, starring Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, to co-create a commercial announcing its arrival in Delhi, Noida and Gurugram.
Being one of the very few players in the online furniture segment to have raised a USD 30 million in a massive funding round involving VC, angel and debt-based finance, Furlenco intends to leverage the funds for its expansion to newer categories, product ranges and more cities in the next one year.
The company's foray into the Delhi-NCR market was thus strategically planned following its successful operational expansion in Bengaluru, Mumbai and Pune. With its new 10,000 sq.ft., warehouse and sales office located in Gurugram, Furlenco will be offering its complete product line in the NCR region within a 72-hour delivery commitment.
"Furlenco chose to enter Delhi-NCR for many reasons. It possesses a dynamic economy through its strong combination of local businesses, established MNCs and a thriving startup community. Currently, we have a team of 20 in our newly launched Delhi- NCR team that will oversee warehousing, logistics, customer experience and field sales," said Ajith Mohan Karimpana, Founder and CEO, Furlenco
Furlenco has established a market leadership in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune where it currently operates and caters to people across the spectrum - ranging from millennials to families.
