Former England left-arm spinner and one-day team coach Ashley Giles has said that he is still struggling to deal with missing out on becoming head coach but is determined to move on.
Giles, who had led England in the limited-over format since 2012, had been the favourite to take over from head coach Andy Flower when he resigned, but following failure at the World Twenty20; the former spinner was overlooked in April in favour of Peter Moores.
According to the BBC, Giles said that he still has bad days as the decision was disappointing, but added that one moves on.
Giles said that it can be difficult to watch what is going on, but he still wants England to do well.
Giles, who led England to a disappointing ODI series defeat by Australia after the Ashes Test whitewash, said that he thought that he was a frontrunner, but losing to the Netherlands was the final nail in the coffin.

Giles added the he went from being one of the most connected people in English cricket to getting his P45 in the post.
Giles further added that he believed and still believes that he can do the job but unfortunately he was not the one to make the decision.
Giles said that while he has had his low moments, he is keen to start looking forward.
