Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday decided to appoint former Peddapalli MP G. Vivekanand as advisor to the Telangana Government on inter-state matters.
The Chief Minister has accordingly asked the officials concerned to issue orders to Vivekanand, who will henceforth advise the state government on inter-state affairs.
Meanwhile, Vivekanand today met the Chief Minister at his official Pragathi Bhavan residence and thanked the latter for appointing him as advisor to the state government on inter-state affairs.
Vivekanand said that he would discharge his duties given by the Chief Minister with utmost commitment and dedication.
Congratulating Vivekanand, Chandrashekhar Rao hoped that the former Peddapalli MP would be successful in his new position.
