Gabrielle Union has slammed the vile internet hackers that stole her nude photos and posted them online, saying that it's a new form of sexual abuse.
The 42-year-old actress, who found out she had been targeted the day after she got married, wrote in an essay that it felt like 'The Hunger Games: You're waiting to be attacked,' the Mirror reported.
Union added that she called her reps and attorneys, pleading to get the photos taken down, but they said it takes time and the shots were spreading fast, to some 50 sites within the first few hours.
Union continued that nude pictures of other celebrities were appearing in this second wave too, including Rihanna and a new round of Jennifer Lawrence shots, which made her think that this is a targeted attack, a hate crime against women.
She further added that some people say the publicity surrounding the photos helps celebrities' careers, but they don't need this kind of press, for example, Jennifer Lawrence is the face of two billion-dollar franchises and it's not a career boost rather is a new form of sexual abuse.
