The Congress Party on Thursday held a candle light march to protest against the Delhi government over farmer Gajendra Singh's suicide.
"The farmer was committing suicide and everyone was watching as silent spectators. Judicial inquiry is the only answer," said party leader Shobha Oza.
Meanwhile, the Youth Congress in Bangalore also held a protest over the incident.
The issue of the farmer's suicide rocked Parliament today. The matter was raised by Trinamool Congress members and supported by other opposition parties including Samajwadi Party, Left and Congress party.
Additionally, Mallikarjun Kharge of Congress demanded a judicial inquiry into the incident and also questioned the role of Delhi Police during the incident.

Delhi Police Commissioner B.S. Bassi also met Home Minister Rajnath Singh over the matter and submitted a report on the incident.
The incident has also led to criticism for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, with opposition parties condemning that his rally went on despite the grave incident.
Kejriwal and his party, however, blamed the Delhi police for inaction.
