Aiming to revive his stalled career, Indian batsman Gautam Gambhir is training under the supervision of former Australian opener Justin Langer in Perth.

After the death of his coach Parthasarthy Sharma, Gambir was looking for someone who could understand his game. And he wanted to give it a shot with Langer and that's why he was in Perth, Sport24 reported.

He added that he could instantly relate to him as it was Langer's intensity that he liked the most.

The schedule of the left-handed batsman, who is determined to do whatever it takes to facilitate his international return, also includes gymnastic and martial art sessions.

The Indian cricketer hopes that working on his game in Perth would give him the extra edge for the upcoming domestic season in India.
