The HBO hit 'Game of Thrones' has topped the nomination list for the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards with a whooping 24 nods, including one for outstanding drama series.
'American Horror Story: Freak Show' and 'Olive Kitteridge' are right behind the royal feud series with 19 and 13 nominations, respectively.
Some of the categories, for which the show based on the books by George R.R. Martin gained nods, were outstanding drama series, best supporting actor- Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, and best supporting actress- Lena Heady, who portrays Cersei Lannister, and Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen.
The series would be competing against "House of Cards" and 'Orange is the New Black,' AMC's 'Mad Men' and 'Better Call Saul,' Showtime's 'Homeland" and PBS' 'Downton Abbey,' for outstanding drama series title.
