The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced a team of four members to study the Justice R M Lodha-led panel's verdict on the 2013 IPL spot-fixing and betting scandal, and has asked it to give its recommendations within six weeks.

Former India captain and IPL Governing Council member Sourav Ganguly is among the four chosen to look through the report. The others are BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur, treasurer Aniruddh Chaudhary and IPL commissioner Rajeev Shukla.

The BCCI's legal head, U N Banerjee, will also assist the working group.

"We have decided to implement the Lodha committee's report. We respect the verdict and will abide by their decisions," Shukla said after the conclusion of a meeting by the IPL Governing Council in Mumbai on Saturday.

"The IPL Governing Council authorized me to constitute a working group which will submit a report within six weeks on how will it be implemented," said Shukla, adding that the recommendations would be reported back to the Governing Council.

Shukla further asserted that they would consult their sponsors, broadcasters, state associations, legal experts, before submitting their final report to the BCCI's working committee.

In a landmark judgment, the Supreme Court-appointed Justice Lodha committee found Chennai Super Kings (CSK) official Gurunath Meiyappan and Rajasthan Royals (RR) co-owner Raj Kundra guilty, and imposed life suspensions on the duo.

The committee also suspended Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from participating in the IPL for a period of two years.
