Former Manchester United player Gary Neville has reportedly offered the post of 'kit man' to British TV host Piers Morgan, who has been sacked by CNN after low viewers ratings for his prime-time show.
When news broke that the legendary Manchester United 'Class of 92' were to buy the non-league club Salford City, Neville took to Twitter to discuss the deal, following which Morgan quickly put himself forward to lead the team.
According to the Daily Star, Neville, who is currently a coach of the England national team, replied that Morgan can be their 'kit man', following which Morgan made a crack about under-pressure United manger David Moyes, who has Gary's brother Phil and Ryan Giggs on his coaching staff.
Morgan quipped that he felt Moyes would be a suitable candidate to manage the Evo-Stick League Division One North club, which has been bought by Gary and Phil Neville, Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, subject to approval from the Football Association and the Football League.
