The one-day-long ceasefire agreement has been violated again following fresh air strikes between Israel and Hamas.
While Israel said that it resumed fire only after Hamas launched rockets into its territory, Hamas said that the wife and child of its military commander have been killed in Israeli attacks.
The peace talks in Cairo have been stalled again and the Israeli delegate have said that they would return home, reported the BBC.
Israel claimed that a total of 50 rockets were fired from Gaza on Tuesday but no casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's spokesperson, Mark Regev, said that air strikes by Hamas have destroyed the premise on which the peace talks were based and has made the continuation of negotiations impossible.
