'Star Wars' creator George Lucas recently revealed that he was disappointed by the latest installment of the hit series.

Lucas said it was very similar to his original trilogy and begrudgingly described it as a retro movie, reports News.com.au.

Claiming that he doesn't like retro movie, Lucas said that every movie he makes, he works very hard to make it different as he likes making them completely different with new planets and spaceships.

Lucas also said he has always called the first six movies his kids, adding, "he sold them to white slavers that take these things and.," before stopping and laughing his comments off.

Since making his comments, Lucas has apologised for criticising Disney's handling of 'Star Wars.
