For the 'A Song of Fire and Ice' fans, this winter is not coming in the right way!
Author George R.R. Martin has revealed that he missed a December 31 deadline to finish 'The Winds of Winter', which is the sixth book in his popular epic fantasy series.
According to the Guardian, Martin apologized to the fans saying, "I won't make excuses. There are no excuses. No one else is to blame. Not my editors and publishers, not HBO. It's on me. I tried, and I am still trying."
Martin said he is working with HBO to ensure the show reflects the next installment of the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' books'.
