German football club Hamburg has reportedly fallen to desperate measures by hiring a spiritual healer in order to avoid relagation from the Bundesliga this season.
Hamburg are currently placed in the bottom three in the division, five points off safety, and are reportedly facing up to life in second tier for the first time in their history.
However, the German club is still fighting to stay in the Bundesliga by hiring spiritual wizard Joseph Kuhnert to help remove any bad vibes that might be hampering them, Metro.co.uk reported.
Kuhnert said that he brings body, soul and spirit back into harmony and accommodate the four elements, adding that he had a special coach who trained him in the storage of high-energy mountain crystals, which would be arranged in certain patterns.
Hamburg had earlier hired Kuhnert on a short-term basis in 2007 once to help 'balance the emotions' of the squad, which worked, and the club is now hoping that the spiritual healer would help them out of their situation again, the report added.
