It was found that Germans are least afraid to show off a lot of skin at the beach, which almost one in five German respondents admitting that they have spent a day on the beach in the nude.

Some 65 percent of survey respondents said they were fine with Speedos, while 91 percent of the French said the skimpy suits were an adequate beachwear option.
