Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard reportedly feels that his club would win the Premier League title if they beat Manchester City in their upcoming clash on Sunday.
The skipper said that if one tells him now that defeat City and Liverpool will win the title, he feels that his answer would be 'yes'.
According to the Mirror, Gerrard believes that Liverpool is ready to prove their quality in Sunday's clash with City and he even admitted that it would be hard not to get carried away if they overcome Manuel Pellegrini's squad at Anfield.
Gerard is reportedly of the opinion that Liverpool has the character and quality to win their first title in 24 years.
However, Gerrard, who is now five wins away from leading Liverpool to their first Premier League title in 24-years, said that the City game would give them three more points, which is what they are planning to do, and there would be four 'huge games' after that.
The England international said that he is not convinced just yet as they have got a very hard game on Sunday adding that he feels the message is to stay calm.
Liverpool currently stand on top of the Premier League table with 74 points, two points ahead Chelsea and four points ahead of City, the report added.
