Headquartered in Milan, Italy, Gi Group, one of the worlds' leading names in the areas of human capital solutions, providing services in various domains of talent acquisition, reached a milestone this year. The company completed its 20 years of successful existence and celebrated this occasion with its India team at the Holiday Inn, Aerocity, New Delhi.
To commemorate this significant milestone, Stefano Colli-Lanzi, Global CEO and founder of Gi Group visited New Delhi along with company's key personnel, Daniele, Merlerati, International Business Senior Director, Maria Luisa Cammarata, International HR Senior Director and Marcos Segador Arrebola, Country Manager - India.
Addressing a huge gathering of India team and dignitaries, Colli-Lanzi unveiled the company's growth and expansion plans, emphasised on the assets of the company and global trends in the HR vertical.
Colli-Lanzi highlighted their plans of focusing on staffing, search and selection, RPO, and executive search. He reiterated that attracting and retaining the talent should be the focus of the corporate. Also, it is important to be constantly upgraded by training about what is happening in the world and corporate should shape the talent as per their business needs and skills.
Another aspect he touched upon was the flexible work environment, leadership styles, Gig Economy, HR Startups in India etc. He said: "Our primary asset is to give value to our customers. Understanding their needs is the utmost important key."

Sharing the expansion plans of the company, he said, "We target to reach revenue of € 5-6 Billions in the next 5 years worldwide."
Talking about the hiring sentiments in the Indian market, Colli-Lanzi said: "India is an evolving nation and there is a need of an employee in each and every sector be, blue collar or white collar jobs."
The group also unveiled its CSR plans where it has signed collaboration with Non-profit organization Shanti Bhavan - a school for underprivileged kids near Bengaluru and popularized by a documentary on Netflixwww.shantibhavanchildren.org/netflix/. Marcos Segador mentioned: "This collaboration would provide job opportunities for their kids, and allow them to experience a future that corresponds to their needs and expectations."
The company has taken the first step towards this initiative by organising a workshop for about 70 colleges going students and working professionals in Bengaluru focused on employability and professional development. The workshop was organised on September 22, 2018, at Hotel Howard Johnson, Hebbal.
