West Indies cricket coach Ottis Gibson has said that the easy thing for his team would be to sit back and blame that they have not had much preparation ahead of the New Zealand series but they have played a lot of cricket.
According to Stuff.co.nz, the West Indies are cold and the backbone of their squad only arrived from India on Saturday so they are struggling to establish sleep patterns.
Meanwhile, New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson was giving little away about his playing prospects yesterday, the report said.
Williamson said general batting did not hurt the dodgy digit and he would not be taking any painkillers, but was keen to get back on the park for what would be his 28th test, according to the report.
