The brother of Manchester United player coach Ryan Giggs, whose wife had an affair with the veteran player, has reportedly supported his sibling on Twitter over a discussion over Giggs' appointment as manager.

Giggs' younger brother Rhodri had labelled the player as a 'worm, a weasel and a bottler' after the older Giggs had an affair with Rhodri's wife Natasha.

According to the Mirror, after Rhodri Giggs was asked by a fan on Twitter as to whether he backed his brother to be a good manager of United, the former manager of non-league club Salford City agreed, although he laughingly refused to be Giggs' assistant, saying that his wages would be too high as he is a FC United player.

Tweeting a 'thumbs up' symbol, the younger Giggs backed Giggs also to repair a fractured dressing room at the Old Trafford side, although he suggested bringing in the old 'back-room' staff to ensure a more successful reign.

Rhodri Giggs, who in 2013 managed Salford- the club bought by Ryan and Manchester United pals Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Gary and Phil Neville last month, also hinted that his feud with his brother might be easing off.

The brothers' relationship hit rock bottom in 2011 when Ryan's eight-year affair with his sister-in-law was uncovered with the news coming on the back of revelations that Giggs had also been romping with Welsh beauty Imogen Thomas, which he tried to cover up using a court injunction, the report added.
