Former Pakistan prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has questioned the timing of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's visit to Saudi Arabia.
In an interaction with the Dawn, Gilani questioned the need for Sharif to leave the country when Pakistan was at war with the Taliban in the northern parts.
He was quoted , as saying that he had no issue with Sharif going to Saudi Arabia to perform Umra, the fact remained that Pakistan needed him more at this time as he has a lot of responsibility being the country's premier.
Gilani said the prime minister should have stayed in the country to fight terrorism along with armed forces.
