Giuliana Rancic has revealed that she was called "ugly" her entire life because of a spine curvature disorder called scoliosis.
The 40-year old television personality, who was diagnosed with scoliosis when she was just 13, shared in her new book, 'Going off script,' that because scoliosis is very hard to camouflage, she thought about it every minute of the day, People magazine reported.
The wife of Bill Rancic, recalled her painful memories in her show 'Giuliana and Bill,' that she auditioned for movies in her teens hoping someone would call her pretty, but no one did and she felt crooked.
The 'Fashion Police' star had a corrective surgery at 21, that straightened her spine but also left a permanent scar and markedly "bony" shoulder blades, because of which she faced criticism and felt very hurtful.
Rancic said she saw a positive outcome from years of heartache, saying everything she faced in her childhood, got her to where she was today. She also advised young girls that the struggles they go through at a young age would become their powers later on in life.
