Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday urged the people to use Khadi products.
"Buy Khadi and handloom during festivals. I am not saying use only Khadi but give it some place in your lives," Prime Minister Modi said while addressing the nation in the 12th edition of his 'Mann ki Baat' programme.
"I am again making an appeal for 2nd October, please buy some Khadi and handloom," he said.
"This Diwali we must make space for Khadi in our homes and on our bodies," he added.
