ANI New Delhi

Some good news here for the e-tailing business! If Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from North-West Delhi, Udit Raj has its way, then very soon businessmen dealing with e-tailing space would savour the MPs speech.

Vouching for e-Commerce in India to root out the twin problems of corruption and red-tapism at the 3rd e-Commerce India Conclave here, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from North-West Delhi made an impromptu declaration of moving a private member's Bill, in the coming session of parliament, should the BJP-led NDA government not bring on its own in order to do away with some clauses in easing e-tailing business in the country.

He hoped that the long list of 82 pages regulations and some clauses that are hindering this nascent business are done away with for good.

Urging the corporates of the e-commerce industry who deals with the supply chain business, the 53-year-old MP asked them to utilize the ample scope of setting up storehouses and warehouses in his constituency and assured of extending all possible help.

The Third e-Commerce India Conclave " Developing the Eco-system" officially supported by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India (GoI) saw prominent members of e-tailing business heads, figures and former government officials attending this event and held out hope for a bright prospect for this nascent industry taking giant strides in terms of conducting volumes of business by 2020.
