A second actor, Gaylord Flynn, has filed a lawsuit against Google Inc after it failed to remove a controversial movie trailer called Innocence of Muslims, that mocked the Prophet Mohammad and triggered riots in 2012.
According to the Guardian, Flynn said in the lawsuit filed on Friday in a California federal court that he has received death threats and fears for his life while Google continues to provide its users with access to the film through pirated content websites known as torrent sites.
The actor has also pressed charges against the film- maker, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula.
He said that inspite of a US appeals court order last February to take the movie off Google's video-sharing website, YouTube, the search engine refused to block access to the movie.
In his complaint, Flynn has claimed that he did not sign a release and that his own copyright interests remain intact, the report said.
